Duchess

The Duchess is a good cooking apple, typically harvested in August to September. They are medium to large, greenish yellow with red stripes, splashes, and dots. They have a firm and juicy flesh, and a tart, brisk flavor.

Honey Crisp

Honey Crisp apples are great for eating, and have a longer shelf life than most apples. They are typically harvested in September to October, and can be identified by their red color, mottled over a yellow background.

Wolf River

Wolf River apples are very large, up to 1 lb each! They are typically harvested in September to October, and are an outstanding apple for pies and cider with their tart, juicy flesh. They can be identified by their yellow skin, covered in dull red.

Yellow Transparent

Yellow Transparents are an early summer apple, coming in typically in July to early August. Their crisp, light textured, juicy flesh makes them excellent for drying, freezing, sauce, juice, and wine. As the name implies, they can be identified by their transparent pale yellow skin.
